Always make sure you keep these things clean and always check the firing pin. I am a responsible and safe gun owner and have never experienced any accidental discharges with any firearm until I bought my Jiminez Ja22. I was clearing my gun after shooting and was packing up and I let the slide forward and the gun went off without my finger on the trigger! The firing pin got stuck forward because so many led shavings got up in the housing and the pin didn't click into place and now I have a nice little hole in the seat of my jeep. Luckily the gun was pointed in a safe direction when it went off. But always make sure you clean these things good and often. I'm honestly a little scared of this gun now

I've owned one of these for about 30 years. It is unreliable and suffers from a very heavy trigger pull. The trigger pull makes accuracy a real challenge. Sometimes you can fire five shots from the magazine without a hitch. At least every other magazine, if not every magazine, it jams. Its a cheap gun, poorly engineered. I've kept it because I wouldn't want it to end up in the hands of someone who might depend on it for self defense. Fortunately I have other firearms that are completely reliable.

Thanks for the video, I had to refer to it to make sure I was putting it back together correctly. I enjoy this weapon at the range, pretty cool for around 100 bucks. Had a couple of stove pipes and failure to eject but I was shooting really cheap ammo. When 22lr ammo comes back on the market ill be sure to get some high grade for the weapon. Thanks again for video.

I was out shooting mine today. I never tired Stingers. I use mostly CCI Mini Mags.

@awomansworld123 I just got this gun today, I friend needed money and sold it to me. Its in REALLY rough condition, it had 5 rounds in it. I fired every one of them off off without a hitch, I hope I dont end up with the same problem. Im not sure what ammo was in it though, it was what ever he already had in it...

Can you use the caseing of a spent round instead of a snap cap?

Thanks, I just bought one of these. This is a great video!

The snap caps are used to "dry fire" the gun. It gives the firing pin something to hit as it would if there were a round in the chamber. Dry firing a rimfire gun is not really good for it, this is why we use the snap caps. I hope this helps.

What are all the possible causes of one of these not firing. Obviously there are alot of reasons but narrow it down.

Nice video I just purchased this very same model in all black. I got a chance to shoot 10 rds of federal ammo but quickly found this gun will jam every other rd. Im not impressed at all yet but we'll see after i shoot more ammo brands. Thanks for the take down video it definitely helped

You can find snap caps at your local gun dealer or do a google search for them.

So is it the same take down process for a jimenez or ja 25 auto?
Написал: xzqzq, 13.12.2011, 10:54

Can you get parts for a J-22 ? I lost the take-down button on mine.

I've examined the firing pin design, and I can see problem at all with dry firing. What is the issue? It has a big fat stop that suffers no damage when it bottoms out.
